Funeral services for Lucille Adams Weeks, age 82, of Brownwood, and formerly of Early, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8, at the First United Methodist Church in Early with Bro. Todd King officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Early.

Lucille died Thursday morning, Aug. 6, 2009, at the Brownwood Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born May 30, 1927, in Scranton, the daughter of the late Clyde and Onie Nichols Adams. She was married to Wesley Carroll Eads at De Leon who preceded her in death in 1963. She was later married to Julian Bobo at Dallas who also preceded her in death. She was later to married Ralph Weeks in Irving and he preceded her in death in 2000. She worked at Revco Drug and later as a people greeter at Wal Mart. She had been a resident of Early since 1990 moving from Irving and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Early.

She is survived by a son, Ricky C. Eads and wife Juanita of Frisco, Texas; a daughter, Sharon McGinnis of Midland, Texas; a brother, Delbert (Slats) Adams of Midland; a sister, Mary Bolton of Midland; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her three husbands, a son, Jimmy Carroll Eads, three brothers and four sisters.
