COLEMAN - Services for Nora Alice Smith, 83, of Coleman, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmie Driskill officiating. Burial will follow in Coleman City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, at Coleman County Medical Center.
She was born June 30, 1925, in Seagraves, a daughter of Thomas Smith and Vita Cynthia Love Smith. She grew up in Mozelle and graduated from Mozelle High School in 1945. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse beginning in 1946 at Overall-Morris Memorial Hospital. She worked for two doctors and then worked at Holiday Hill and Leisure Lodge Nursing Homes. She was married to Roy Smith in Coleman, and was a member of Elm Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Smith of Coleman; one son, Bob and wife Pam Smith of Abilene; two daughters, Carol and husband Fred Bozeman of Rye, Colo., and Glenda Adams of Coleman; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
