Funeral mass for Adan Balderrama, age 84, of Brownwood, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Father Barry McLean will be officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Greenleaf Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home.

A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel.

Our beloved uncle entered into Heaven on Saturday, the 2nd of June, but will remain in out hearts eternally.

Adan T. Balderrama was born in Bigfoot, on June 7, 1922, to Julio and Delfina Balderrama. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged.

He is survived by a sister Amelia Ramos of Devine; sister-in-law Ina Balderrama of Brownwood; nieces Gloria Gamble and Linda Balderrama of Brownwood, and Grave Alvarez of Dallas; Shirley Pompa of Divine, Bertha Gutierrez of Dallas, Alicia Garcia of Colton, Calif., Alamar Castro of Santa Maria, Calif. niece Dr. Tina Kubicek and son Christopher of Austin; nephews, Gilbert Balderrama of St. Louis, Mo., Edward, Richard, Raul and Arthur Balderrama and niece Alice of Austin. Also great-nephew Michal Miller of Oahu, Hawaii; great-niece Stacey Perez and Anthony Perez of Brownwood; great-great-niece Marisa Perez; and great-great-nephew John Perez. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.

Mr. Balderrama was preceded in death by his parents, Julio and Delfina Balderrama,; brothers, Jose, Gilbert, Noe, Juvencio, Melquiades Balderrama; and sisters, Ina Yanez, Eva Alcaraz, Rosa and Elida.
