Bill Newcomb, age 67, a longtime resident of Brownwood passed away Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, in Abilene. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010, at the Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Richard Hetzel officiating. Interment will be private at a later date.

    Bill was the owner of Bills Used Tire Service in Brownwood. He is survived by his daughter Chris Wheat of Abilene; grandchildren, Jessica Wheat and Rusty Kilburn of Breckenridge; great-granddaughter, Autumn Sauceda; brother, Jack Newcomb and wife Dorothy of Clarksville and Donald Allgood Jr. of Brownwood; sisters, Nancy Stattuck and husband Pat of San Angelo, Helen O’Dell and husband John of Lago Vista, Dee Chesser and husband Bob of San Angelo and Kaye Newcomb of Spring. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many caring friends.

    He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Carl Lee Newcomb.

    Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
