On Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007, Ruby Jean Miller passed from this life into heaven to be with her Lord and Savior.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24, in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ruben Packer officiating. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Early.
The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, at the funeral home.
Ruby Jean was born on May 8, 1925, in Brownwood, Texas, to Georgia Lee Formby-Chrane and Thomas Chrane. She had been a lifelong resident of Brownwood and was a member of the Victory Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Robert Martin Littlefield; her brother, Thomas Edward “Junior” Chrane; sister, Iris Edwards; two children, Bobby Littlefield and Sandra Hill; two grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Survivors include her brother, Billy Joe Chrane and wife, Mary, of Lake Brownwood; two sisters, Audrey Burten and husband Bill, of the Metroplex and Betty Honkamp and husband Fred, of Milwaukee. She is also survived by three daughters, Tanya Anne Powell-Jones and husband Carroll, of Bangs, Laura Lee Davis and husband Clarence, of Bangs and Neva Christner and husband Ray, of Brownwood; her son, James Allred and wife Linda, of Brownwood; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
