Lois Miller, age 91, of Bangs, went to be with her Lord on Monday, Dec. 22, 2008. Graveside services, under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Bangs Cemetery with Wayne Lewis officiating. Lois was born March 2, 1917, near Indian Creek to Samuel and Mattie (DeViney) Oliver. She was married to Albert F. Miller on Dec. 24, 1935, in Brownwood. She had been a lifelong homemaker and partner on the farm-ranch she affectionately called “home.” Lois was a member of Mount View Methodist Church until it was dissolved and incorporated with Bangs Methodist church. She taught Sunday School Class and sang for the Church as well as The Retirement Centers in Bangs.

Lois was the last of her nine siblings to go to her God.

Lois is survived by her two sons, Frederick R. and wife Jean of Bryan, and Alvin L. and wife Pat of Bangs, and daughter, Oleta Rudloff of Stephenville; seven grandchildren, Charles F. Miller of Bryan, Robert L. Miller of Vega, Edward Miller of Albany, Gayland Miller of Brownwood, Sheri Baty of Knox City, Ray Rudloff of Temple, and Karen Bromley of Stephenville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters; her husband, Albert Miller; one son-in-law; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson.
