Funeral services for Felix “Junior” Cochran, age 79, of Zephyr, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2008, in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ruben Packer officiating. Interment will follow in the Rocky Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at Davis-Morris Funeral Home.

Mr. Cochran passed away June 6, 2008, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center. He was born Dec. 6, 1928, to Felix and Elva Cochran in Afton, Texas. He was a lifetime resident of Brownwood and a retiree of the City of Brownwood after 25 years where he was a Supervisor for the Parks and Recreation Department. He was an avid sportsman who loved fishing and was a member of the Victory Baptist Church.
Junior is survived by his wife, Linda of Zephyr; a daughter, Jalea Dunaway and husband, Chris of Brownwood; two sons, Phillip Cochran and wife Linda of Early, and Kenny Rouse and wife Robin of Brookesmith; a brother, Charles Cochran of Brownwood; two sisters, Wilda Payne and husband Jimmy of La Coste and Glenda (Mack) Payne of Brownwood; grandchildren, Christy Hunter, Amanda Rouse, Courtney Terrill, Justin Terrill, Brandon Lawson, Kendall Dunaway, Calli Dunaway, Christopher Dunaway, Chris and Rodney Emory, Derek, Chad, Bryan, and Bayley Cochran; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Junior is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Terrell Cochran; brother, Bill Cochran; and two sisters, JoAnn Cochran and Neva Scaff.
