RICHLAND SPRINGS — A memorial service for Billie Louise McGregor Adams, 87, of Richland Springs, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at the First Christian Church in Richland Springs.

She died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007.

She was born Nov. 4, 1919, in Algerita, the daughter of Forrest and Mary McGregor. She was married to Dean Adams Sr. on Dec. 11, 1944.

She graduated from Richland Springs High School in 1936 and Texas State Women’s College (now TWU) in 1940 and was a teacher and a librarian.

Survivors include three children: Donna Wigley and her husband Don of Dallas, Mary Katherine Adams of Richland Springs and Dean Adams Jr. and his wife Judy of New Braunfels; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her parents, her husband, two brothers, two sisters and one nephew preceded her in death.

She attended the First Baptist Church and First Christian Church of Richland Springs for many years.
