COLEMAN - Graveside service for James Albert Treasure, 66, of Baytown, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, at Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion with Sam Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Stevens Funeral Home.
He died Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, at his home.
He was born July 24, 1942, to Albert and Mable Treasure in Morris, Ill. At the age of 13, he moved to Texas with his family. He had lived in Baytown for the past 35 years. He was a machinist at Emerson Process in Pasadena. He served in the U. S. Navy, attending BT School, then aboard the USS Arnold J. Isbell DD 869. He was lifetime member of Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 922, and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 912. He was Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Treva Treasure of Baytown and Coleman; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Larry Phillips of Alvin; and brother, Charles Treasure of Houston.
