Glenn Cullins, age 79, of Bangs passed away Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, at his residence. Mr. Cullins was cremated under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home, and no services are planned at this time.

Glenn was born Oct. 28, 1929, in Coleman County, the son of the late Clarence and Maudie (Dobbins) Cullins. He had been a resident of Bangs since 1985, formerly of De Leon, Graham and Coleman. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a Baptist, and worked as manager at Sav-On Food until his retirement. Glenn was married to Edra Johnson on March 15, 1980, in Graham.

Survivors include his wife, Edra (Edie) Cullins, of Bangs; children, Charley Cullins of Coleman, Bill Cullins of San Angelo, Bonnie Hennig of Glen Cove, Alan Johnson of Decorah, Iowa, Scott Johnson of Bastrop and Sara Cutshall of College Station; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Richard Kelly; infant brother, Aaron Cullins; sister, Betty Doris Knowles; grandson, Don Robert Cullins; and granddaughter, Dana West.
