CLYDE — Thomas Bradley “Brad” Nichols, 38, of Lubbock died suddenly Friday at University Medical Center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, at the Bible Baptist Church in Clyde with the Rev. Jerry Hooper and the Rev. Larry Hooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Clyde Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
Bradley was born Jan. 12, 1969, in Abilene to Tommy and Peggy (Hatley) Nichols. He attended school in Slayton and Clyde. He had worked in the oilfield and was a member of the Army reserves. He was a member of the Woodrow Baptist Church, where he will be greatly missed
He is survived by four children, Kelsey and Shelby Nichols of Lubbock, and Bradley and Chase Nichols of Brownwood; his parents, Tommy and Peggy Nichols of Lubbock; two brothers, Ricky and Jody Nichols of Lubbock whom he shared a close relationship with; his maternal grandmother, Cleta (Hatley) Gregg of Clyde; his paternal grandparents, Virgil and Tracy Nichols of Clyde; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Tiffany Nichols; a maternal grandfather, Thurman Hatley; and his step-grandfather, Kenneth Gregg.
Brad was very proud of his children and enjoyed being able to be “Mr. Mom” and stay at home and raise them.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., this evening at Bailey Funeral Home.
