Funeral service for Virginia Gallegos Gutierrez, 67, will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 4, officiated by Brother White at The New Testament Holiness Church in Bangs. Graveside service will follow at the Coleman City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 3, 2008.

Virginia Gallegos Gutierrez, left us Sept. 30, 2008 and entered the Kingdom of Heaven where she was embraced by her Father, the Lord God Almighty. Sister Virginia was born April 25, 1941, in Sugarland, to Santos and Elvira Gutierrez. Many years of her life were spent in Houston, where all six of her children were born. With the acceptance of Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, she moved to Coleman, to follow the Ministry of Brother David Terrell. Guidance was provided over the years from her Pastors Brother Blue, Brother Barron, and Brother White. After moves to Early and Brownwood, Sister Virginia settled in Bangs, home of The New Testament Holiness Church. As a devout follower for 34 years, Sister Virginia served the Lord by accepting Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost Spirit, studying the Word of God, attending regular church service, and testifying to those in need. For these years of service, God has allowed her to come home to Heaven.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Santos and Elvira Gutierrez, and her brothers Delfino Gutierrez, Gregory Gutierrez, and Robert Gutierrez. She is survived by her sisters, Connie Garza, Channelview; Hortencia Oliver, Coleman; Lidia Deleon, Houston; Velia Gonzalez, Houston; her brothers Santos Gutierrez, Houston; Ruben Gutierrez, Houston; her children, Sylvia and Daniel Molina, Houston; Debra Perez, Austin; Sophia Perez, Denton; Uvaldo Perez, Edinburg; Priscilla Salinas, Lewisville; Manuel and Jessika Salinas, Denton; her grandchildren, Gregory DeLeon, Natalie Mize, Makayla McCaskill, Myra McCaskill, Manuel Salinas III, Jakob Salinas; her great grandchildren Christian Mize and Joshua James Mize, Danielle DeLeon and Greg DeLeon Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews.
