Funeral services for Barbara “Sue” Ledlow, 64, of Brownwood, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 21, at the Netherton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony King officiating.

Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Netherton Funeral Home.

She passed away Monday morning, June 18, 2007, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

Sue was born April 5, 1943, in Brownwood, Texas, the daughter of Harvey and Lillian Kemp. She had been a resident of Brownwood since 1990 and was formerly of Peaster, near Weatherford. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved working in her yard and could grow just about anything. Sue married Paul Eugene Ledlow on May 24, 1957, in Big Lake, Texas.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Eugene Ledlow of Brownwood; children, Paul “Butch” Ledlow Jr. and Melanie Pancake of Brownwood, Paula and Marvin Lynn of Brownwood, Phyllis Lynn and Jesse Seiler of Brownwood, Pam Ledlow and Michael McElhaney of Blanket, Polly Ledlow of Brownwood and Alicia and Brian Gordon of Bangs; grandchildren, Jennifer Franks, Jason Lynn, Jeff Lynn, Jeremy Lynn, Melody Lynn, Amy Lynn, Codie Ledlow, Ashley Ledlow, James Seiler, Tracy Ledlow and Jacob Keith; nieces and nephews Shirlene Proctor, William Proctor, Randy Elms, Shellie Powell and Rita Niccum; and many other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Mattie Kemp, and Lillian and W.N. Shannon; sister, Shirley Elms; one son, Harvey Ledlow; one niece, Shanna Elms; one grandson, Chad Michael Ledlow; and two great-grandchildren, Jordan Kern and Haylee Kern.
