HASSE – Services for Curtis Melot ,71, of Comanche will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at Hasse Baptist Church in Hasse. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.
He died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010, in Coleman.
He was born Dec. 4, 1938, in Baton Rouge, La., the son of Floyd Melot and Regnald Garner Melot. He was married to Maxine Taylor on May 12, 1958, in Mississippi. He had lived in Comanche for the last 30 years and was a member of Hasse Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Curtis Alan Melot and wife, Verna, of Odessa; two daughters, Vickie Plummer of Coleman, Lois Boyce and husband, Fred of Proctor; two sisters, Lois Northcutt of Bangs, Sharon Brinson of Tuscola; two brothers, Don Melot of Comanche, David Melot of Bangs; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Edward Melot; and one grandson, David Michael Dunn.
