Jimmy Lee Orange, 59, of Zephyr, Texas, died Sunday, July 15, 2007, at his home.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at Zephyr Cemetery with Becky Humphries and Robert Orange officiating. Fort Hood Army Base provided full military honors.

Jimmy Lee Orange was born July 31, 1947, in Brownwood, Texas, the son of John D. and Marie Sharrock Orange. Jimmy served in the United States Army 21 years, with two tours to Vietnam as a dental specialist. He was a Baptist and had lived live in Zephyr since 1981.

Survivors include a son, Robert Lee Orange of Brownwood; a daughter: Melissa Pansini of Gunnison, Colo.; two brothers, John D. Orange Jr. and Wayne Orange, both of Brownwood; a sister, Betty McCurdy of Blanket; two granddaughters; Savannah and Reighlyn Orange; five nephews; and two nieces

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Johnny Mayfield.
