Anthony E. (Tony) Cristino, 88, passed away in Las Vegas, Nev., on June 13, 2008.

He is survived by a daughter, Donna J. Cristino; a son, Phillip A. Cristino and wife Pam; a granddaughter, Bekki; and a great-granddaughter, Ivy Rose; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Audrey (Chapman) Cristino, whom he met in Brownwood while he was stationed at Camp Bowie during World War II.

He served with the Fourth Armored Division and entertained the troops with his banjo. He was often requested to play for private parties of the Generals and Colonels. He always enjoyed playing the banjo for family and friends and brought joy to many by doing so.

Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, and the funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 20 at Davis Morris Funeral Home. Interment will be at Indian Creek Cemetery.
