Joanne Wester Inglet, long time resident of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington on Thursday, June 14, 2011, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Joanne was 76. She was born on Aug. 26, 1934, in Brownwood, Texas, where she spent most of her childhood. She was married to Bob Inglet when she was 17 and became his first wife. She and Bob had a daughter, Deborah (Debbie) Inglet and they moved to Arlington when Debbie was 12. They resided there many years. Some years later, Joanne and Bob divorced, but remained on good terms. Joanne never remarried but moved to Grand Prairie, Texas, where she resided till her death. While married, she worked outside her home and began her career as an operator with the telephone company in Brownwood. In Arlington, she worked for Shop Rite Foods as a cashier for 13 years and finished her career as a parts inspector working an additional 13 years for VacHyd; a local aerospace company in Grand Prairie, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Elwood Wester and Rosa Nell Savage.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Debbie) Inglet and ex sister-in-Law, Vada Reynolds. Vada's daughter, Betty Ellis and her family, Vada's son, Bob Reynolds and his family, and Raymond Brucker and his daughters and their families are included. Also included are Cousins, Phil Brooks of West Covina, Calif. and his family along with Phil's three brothers and their families. She left behind many more friends and family along with precious memories.

Joanne was cremated by the Neptune Society per her wishes. A memorial service is being planned for her on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at the Rocky Creek Baptist Church located at 4300 County Road, 557 Lane, Brownwood, Texas, 76801. The service will begin at 11 a.m. and will be officiated by Paster Rick Justice. All are welcome.
