MULLIN — Graveside services for Wayne R. Clendenen, 90, of Mullin, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 8, in Oakview Cemetery, with Dayton House officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home.
He died Thursday, May 5, 2011, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
He was born July 24, 1920, in Mills County, to Jeff Clendenen and Anne (McDonald) Clendenen. He was married to Pearl Clark on March 14, 1942, in Dallas. He was a farmer and a Lutheran. He was a lifelong employee at M.E. Moses and Co. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his daughter, Donna Morris and husband Dexter of Houston; son, Gary Clendenen and wife Lisa of Priddy; five granddaughters; one grandson; and five great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Clendenen and daughter, Sherry Clendenen.
