COMANCHE – Funeral for Connie Marie Pittman, 86, of Comanche will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Van Christian officiating. Burial will be in Blake Cemetery in Brown County. She died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at Western Hills Healthcare Residence in Comanche.

Visitation will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Lunch for the family will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pearl Street Church of Christ.

She was born July 10, 1923, in Burkburnett to Charles Andrew and Hermance Ellen (Dunn) Watson. She was a homemaker, beautician, interior decorator andd seamstress. She was a member of Blake Baptist Church in Brown County. She was married to Sidney G. Pittman on April 21, 1941, in Brown County.

Survivors include her husband, Sidney G. Pittman of Comanche; two daughters and their husbands, Diana and Ray “Butch” Frazier, and Sandy and Frazier Clark, all of Comamche; two grandchildren; three great-grandsons; a brother-in-law, Smitty Ogletree of Comanche; three nieces; and a nephew; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in dath by her parents; a brother, Charles David Watson; and one sister, Leatrice “Lee” Ogletree.

Memorials may be made to the Cherokee Home for Children.
