COLEMAN – Graveside services for Danny Leo Hyden, 55, of Coleman will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, in Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion with the Rev. Bryan Hall officiating, under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Coleman.
He died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, at Hendrick Medical Center Hospice Unit.
He was born March 4, 1954, in Santa Anna, to Myrtie Coffee Hyden Storey and Lummie Hyden. He served in the United States Army. On Aug. 12, 1974, he was married to Patsy Brooks in Coleman and she died in 1978. He was married to Retha Flannigan in 1995. He had worked as an oil field truck driver and roughneck. He was Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Retha Hyden of Coleman; his mother, Myrtie Hyden Storey of Brownwood; four brothers, Leon Hyden and wife Kathy of Brownwood, David Hyden and wife Debra of Mason, Joe Frank Hyden of Coleman, Terry Hyden and wife Kelli of Coleman; three sisters, Jacqueline Row and husband Robert of Smithfield, N.C., Sherry Hyden of Jacksonville, Teresa Moore of Coleman; two daughters, Patricia Ann Hyden of Brownwood and Kerry Lee Hyden of Weatherford; two step-sons, Jason Flannigan and Jonathan Flannigan both of Arkansas; two grandsons and one granddaughter; numerous nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lummie, and wife, Patsy.
