COLEMAN — Services for Michael Salazar, 45, of Santa Anna will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Coleman with Father Santiago Udayar officiating. Interment will follow in Santa Anna Cemetery.
Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. today at Henderson Funeral Home in Santa Anna.
He died at 4:50 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.
He was born Dec. 8, 1961, in Santa Anna to Manuel and Ruth DelaRosa Salazar. He was raised in Santa Anna and was a 1981 graduate of Santa Anna High School and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A lifetime resident of Santa Anna, he was a garden center sales associate for Wal-Mart in Brownwood.
Survivors include his father and mother, Manuel and Ruth Salazar of Santa Anna; two brothers, Salvador and wife, Maria Salazar, of Brownwood, and J.R. Salazar of Santa Anna; and seven nieces and nephews, Jason Greenlee, Albert, Matthue, Larisa, Seth, Jaryd and Montana Salazar.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Albert (PY) Salazar in 1983.
Pallbearers will be Albert Salazar, Matthue Salazar, Seth Salazar, Jaryd Salazar, Steve Cantrell and David Dickey.
