KERRVILLE — Graveside memorial services for William Edward “Ed” Lohn III, of Kerrville, and formerly of Brady, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at the Lohn Family Cemetery in Lohn.
He died Monday, Aug. 24, 2009.
He was born April 27, 1941, in Lohn, to William Edward “Beekie” Lohn Jr. and Sue Edwards Lohn. He graduated from Brady High School in 1959 and attended Texas A&M University. He was a construction superintendent for many years, and loved hunting, camping and grilling for and with his family and friends.
He is survived by his two sons, William Edward “Bill” Lohn IV and wife Jackie, and Gregory Carl Lohn and wife Becky, all of Brady; one brother, Lanier Lohn and wife Gail of Brady; a sister, Jerrilyn Lohn Ray and husband Bill of Kerrville. He had six grandchildren, William Edward “Will” Lohn V and wife Tobi of Plainview, Stacy Lohn of Lubbock, Susan and Carl Lohn of Brady, Sam and Emily Lohn of Tahsis, B.C., Canada; a great-granddaughter, Alexxa Lohn of Plainview; and numerous nieces and nephews.
