COMANCHE — Funeral services for Amber Faith (Dukes) Craddock, 98, of Comanche will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, at First Baptist Church of Comanche with the Rev. Ronnie Calcote officiating.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery in Lubbock with the Rev. Everett McDaniel officiating
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Comanche Funeral Home.
Lunch will be at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
She died Monday, May 26, 2008, at Western Hills Healthcare Residence in Comanche.
She was born March 21, 1910, in Duster to Lilburn Lynwood Dukes Sr. and Minnie Iola (McNeely) Dukes. She was married to Bishop Craddock on Jan. 12, 1929, in Duster. He died in January 1962.
She was a homemaker who moved to Comanche County in 1962, and she has been a member of First Baptist Church in Comanche since 1964.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and David Brush of Gustine; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Hazel Roberts of Alabama; a brother, Herman Dukes of Comanche; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sons, R.S. Craddock and David Craddock; two sisters; two brothers; and her parents.
