Eddie Lee Webb Jr., age 59, of Brownwood, departed this life at 8:40 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 18, in Galveston, Texas. 

    A homegoing service of remembrance will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, at the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel in Early with burial to follow in the Bangs Cemetery.

    He was born in Middleton, Tenn., the oldest son and the fifth child of nine siblings of the late Eddie Webb Sr. and Clara Webb. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Marilyn Webb.

    He was united in Holy matrimony to Mary Banks in 1978 in Brownwood, Texas, and to this union was born three children. Eddie worked as a painter for several years and was a member of the New Testament Holiness Church in Bangs.

    He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Mary Banks (Webb), son; Eddie Lee Webb III, Natheial Webb; daughter, Marylin Harlmon; and six grandchildren; his mother, Clara Webb of Bangs; sisters, Ressie Heffner and husband Thomas of Austin, Clauida Person and husband Saul of Eads, Tenn., Rosetta Prewitt and husband Freddie of Brownwood and Shelia Washington and husband Luriel of Pflugerville; brothers, Carl Webb of Beaumont, Sherwood Webb of Austin, Daryl Webb of Bangs and Nicholas Webb of Philadelphia; two uncles, R. D. Crawley of Eads, Tenn. and E. D. Wright of Memphis, Tenn.; one aunt, Jane C. Jones of Eads, Tenn.; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
