SAN SABA - A memorial service for Vivian Dickens Henderson, 90, of Lampasas will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at First Presbyterian Church in San Saba. Burial will follow in the San Saba City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. today at Howell-Doran Funeral Home.
She died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, in Mobile at the home of one of her daughters.
She was born Dec. 2, 1917, to Arthur Reed Dickens and Vivian Harris Dickens. She graduated from Lampasas High School. She was married to Paul Duke Henderson in 1939. He preceded her in death in Aug. 2007. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in San Saba.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Greta and George Massing and Karen and George Ledbetter; four granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her sisters, Ruth Haass and Mildred Scott; and her brother, Eugene Dickens.
