GOLDTHWAITE Services for Jack Abbott Cravy, 85, of Mullin will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 16, at Stacy-Wilkins Chapel in Goldthwaite with the Rev. Doug Holtzclaw officiating. Burial will be in Trigger Mountain Cemetery in Mills County.

He died Friday, June 13, 2008, at San Saba Nursing Home.

He was born Aug. 13, 1922, in San Saba to Joseph Henry and Iva Mae Abbott Cravy. He was married to Clara Smith on March 14, 1942, in Lometa. He moved to Mills County from Killeen in 1982. He was retired after working 33 years as a supervisor for Lone Star Gas. He served in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife, Clara Cravy of Mullin; one daughter and spouse, Patricia Ann Barr and Kenneth Fox of Corpus Christi; three sons and spouses, Jerald and Dorothy Cravy of Seguin, Bob and Sue Cravy of McKinney and Audie Cravy of Mullin; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Sarah Sharp of St. Augustine; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Nancy Lemmon and Annie Ruth Evans.
