Mary Kinman, age 87, of Brownwood passed away Dec. 22, 2007, at her residence.
A resident of Brownwood since 1975, she was born June 4, 1920, in Baird, Texas to Fred and Mary Lou Parsell. She married Albert Kinman on Jan. 4, 1939, in Alpine, Texas. She was a clerk for the telephone company and was a member of the telephone pioneers. A member of Central United Methodist Church she was in the Glad Hand Sunday School class and a volunteer financial secretary for the church from 1976 to 1996. She also volunteered at the Brownwood Memorial Hospital from 1975 to 1978.
She is survived by her brother, Ray Parsell and wife Wanda of Escondido, Calif.; and a sister and loving caregiver, Dorothy Patton of Brownwood. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives, and two longtime family friends, Debbie Carroll and Marlyn Salazar.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert; her parents; and a sister, Jewel Lethco.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec, 24, 2007, at Eastlawn Memorial Park with Dr. Gary Torian officiating. The family will receive friends from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday morning at Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
