Graveside services for Richie Lee Arnold, 79, of Tyler, Texas, will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at at Trinity Memorial Park Cemetery in Big Spring, Texas, with Phil Tytanic and Barbara Landreth officiating.
Services are under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Rd., Tyler, Texas.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. on Monday, July 21, 2008, at the funeral home.
He passed away on July 19, 2008 in Tyler, Texas.
He was born Jan. 6, 1929, in Dierks, Ark., to Tom W. and Hattie V. Arnold.
He was a member of the Baptist faith and the American Legion. He loved to fish on Lake Brownwood and hunt on the McDowell Ranch in the Garden City, Texas.
He was a physical therapist for the VA hospital in Big Spring, Texas for 30 years following his service in the Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Barbara Landreth of Tyler, Texas, Brenda Hicks of Lake Brownwood, Texas, and Glenda Mae Green of Whitefish, Mt.; his grandchildren, Michelle Kincaide of Tyler, Texas, Kristi Hood of Jacksonville, Texas, Phil Tytanic of Midland, Texas, Karen Thompson of North Carolina and Teana Chesney of Brownwood, Texas; one living brother, Cecil Arnold of Big Spring, Texas, and four great-grandchildren.
