RISING STAR - Billy Ray Nall Jr, age 47, of Rising Star passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011, in Abilene at Hendricks Medical Center.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, at the First Baptist Church in Rising Star, with Terry Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Pioneer Cemetery, under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Home of Cross Plains. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at 803 North Main, Rising Star, Texas, 76471.

He was born on Sept. 14, 1963, to Patsy Jo (Burkhaulter) and Billy Ray Nall Sr. in McCamey, Texas. Billy worked as a machinist at SMK Fabrications and for Vicars Machine, as well as for Charles Morgan before. He was married to Tricia Fox on Aug. 7, 1993, at First Baptist Church in Rising Star. He lived in Rising Star for 41 years and served on the Rising Star Board of Trustees and as a volunteer firefighter and first responder for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Tricia of Rising Star; three daughters, Bailie Nall and boyfriend Jason Rutledge, Kinsey and Kailee Nall all of Rising Star; one sister, Donnett Nall of Weatherford; two brothers, David Nall of Scandia, Kan. and Mike Nall and wife Clarissa of Rising Star; mother-in-law, Marby Fox; brothers-in-law, Gary Fox, Bebo Fox and wife Cheryl, Michael Fox and fiancÚ, Tiffany Walker, and Jody Fox all of Rising Star; sisters-in-law, Tammy Fox, Sherry Fox and Doreen Fox and husband Doug all of Rising Star; four nieces, 14 nephews, five great-nieces and two great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
