COLEMAN – Leatha Iris Conway, 91, of Coleman, and formerly of Orange, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010, at Holiday Hill Nursing Home in Coleman. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday at Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, at the First Presbyterian Church, in Orange with the Rev. Margaret Desmond officiating. Burial will follow in Parish Cemetery, under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, at the church.
She was born March 25, 1919, in Woodrow, Hardin County, to John Henry Richardson and Sallie Gertrude Freasier Richardson. On Dec. 23, 1939, she was married to Marell W. Conway in Woodrow. She was a homemaker and a seamstress. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Orange and the First United Methodist Church in Coleman.
Survivors include her husband, Marell Conway of Coleman; daughter, Linda Burns and husband Tom of Coleman; one granddaughter; one great-grandson; two sisters, Elaine Peveto and husband Jerald of Orange, Trudy Ericson and husband Carl of Hilltop Lakes; and two sisters-in-law, Zelma Sherman and Betty Conway, both of Orange.
