Memorial services for Johnnie McCullar Adams, age 55, of Brownwood, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at the Netherton Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Wilson officiating. Mrs. Adams passed away Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008.

Johnnie was born July 3, 1953, in Oklahoma City, Okla., the daughter of the late J. D and Glenda (Gregory) McCullar. She had been a resident of Brownwood since 1998, formerly of Lubbock. She married Ronald Adams on December 16, 1998 in Brownwood. Johnnie loved to cook and entertain, and she had a heart of gold.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Adams of Brownwood; son, Jeffrey Tucker, of Brownwood; daughters, Pamela Phillips of Brownwood, Stacie Brown and husband, Charles, of Lubbock, Tania Wilson and husband, Michael, of San Antonio and Dawn Davis and husband, Todd, of Nixa, Mo.; brothers, Kenneth Washburn of Granbury, Charles Washburn of Copperas Cove and Earl Frank Galbraith of Tulsa, Okla.; sisters, Linda Glenn of Lubbock and Susie Scroggins of Midwest City, Okla,; grandchildren, Briana Houston, Jessica Phillips, Meagen Tucker, Shala Tucker, Robert Setser, Aaron Setser, Mikayla Wilson, Eryn Wilson, Duran Durham, Gregory Van Metor and Patrick Van Metor; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Glenda Tucker; and sister, Betty Adams.
