Graveside services for Minnie Grace Croft Cantrell, 82, of Bangs were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 6, in Bangs Cemetery, with Louise Strength officiating. Services were under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.

    She died Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, at Bangs Nursing Home.    

    She was born July 8, 1928, in Coleman County, to Walter Croft and Velma Brown Croft. On Jan. 15, 1945, she was married to Marvin A. “Bill” Cantrell in Coleman. She was a homemaker.

    Survivors include three sons, George E. Cantrell and wife Mary of Brownwood, Arthur D. Cantrell of Huntsville, and Marvin H. Cantrell of Meridian, Miss.; four sisters, Nita Kaye of Coleman, Willie Malone and Bessie Brown, both of Breckenridge, and Louise Miller of Tennessee; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her husband; three brothers, Cleo Croft, W.A. Croft, and Clyde Croft; and sister, Mary June Laws.
