SAN SABA — Funeral services for Shirley Ruth Ham, 70, of Locker, will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 5, at Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Brand officiating. Burial will follow at Locker Cemetery.
She died Monday, April 30, 2007, in Whitsett.
She was born Nov. 13, 1936, in the Blackjack community, Texas, to Elmo Ross and Bertha Mae Cumi Weaver Deckert. On Feb. 13, 1954, she was married to Clarence William Ham.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence Ham of Locker; children, Clarise Mae Kehoe of Kerrville, Clay William Ham of Sugarcreek, Ohio, Dennis Wayne Ham of Locker; one grandson; two granddaughters; brothers, Marvin Elmo Deckert of Pleasanton and Frank Ross Deckert of Victoria; one sister, Esther Mae Everett of Whitsett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ritha Earl Ham; father, Elmo Ross Deckert; mother, Bertha Mae Cumi Deckert; and two sisters, Barbara Louise Thompson and Earlene Cumi Deckert.
