COMANCHE — Funeral services for Romeo Marin Guerra, 86, of Corpus Christi will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 11, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel with Father Philip McNamara officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory. Visitation and Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

    He died Thursday, April 8, 2010, at “The Palms” in Corpus Christi.

    He was born Aug. 21, 1923, in Laredo, to Felix G. Guerra and Manuela (Marin) Guerra. He was a U.S. Postal Employee clerk in the Dallas District. He was disabled and retired from the Army with the rank of sergeant. He was married to Olga Perez on July 22, 1951, in Corpus Christi.

    Survivors include his sons, Romeo P. Guerra of Mesquite, Robert P. Guerra of Hasse, Richard P. Guerra of Arlington, and Roland P. Guerra of Sidney; three sisters, Carmen Vidaurri of Corpus Christi, Petra Perez of Orange Grove, and Juliet Rodriguez of Corpus Christi; brother, Felix Guerra of San Antonio; numerous grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by his wife, Olga P. Guerra; son, Raymond Guerra; and brother, Oscar Guerra.
