SAN SABA — Funeral services for Jean Harkey Lindsey, 71, of San Saba, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sam Crosby officiating. Burial will follow at the China Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 to 6 p.m. today.
She died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, in San Saba.
She was born Nov. 26, 1935, in San Saba, the daughter of C.A. and Ivy Haley Harkey. She attended the Baptist church and was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for over 30 years.
Survivors include her father, C.A. Harkey of San Saba; one son, Duke Lindsey and his wife Michelle of San Saba; two daughters, Audrey Heath and Vicki Bradley, both of Fort Worth; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Dwight Harkey and his wife Carol; one niece; and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ivy Harkey; one sister, Wilma Charlene; and one grandson, Mike Heath II.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Heath-Romero Scholarship at Arrowhead Bank in San Saba.
