Frankie Beth Hackler, 62, of Brownwood, was called to be with the Lord May 25, 2008, at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas, where she was surrounded by all of her loved ones. A memorial service, under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home, will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 31, in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until service time.

Frankie was born to the late Carmel Ivey Conlin and Frank Ivey, June 9, 1945. She was very loving and giving and never expected anything in return. She was always there for family and friends, and her love for children made her more than a friend to all that knew her, she was everyone’s “Meme.” She was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Frankie is survived by her husband, Charles Hackler of Brownwood; ex-husband and dear friend, Sherman Willborn of Brownwood; children, Misti Matthews and husband Chris of Bangs, sons, Max Cox of Pflugerville, Frank Cox and wife Nathana of San Angelo. Her most precious possessions were her nine grandchildren, Canyon, Zoey, Jaeden and Taylor Matthews of Bangs, Nickie Titus and Kristin Cox of Pflugerville, Calla, Colt and Emily Cox of San Angelo; one great-grandchild, Emma Grace Cox of San Angelo; sister, Linda Culver of Brownwood; brother, Billy Ivey of Neederland; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents, Carmel Ivey Conlin and Frank Ivey; stepfather, Gordan Conlin; and second mother, her Aunt Jewel Burnett.

The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center and Hendrick Medical Center of Abilene.
