Minnie Ola Chamberlain, age 90, of Brownwood, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2008.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday July 27, at the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Daniel Haynes officiating, with interment to follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 Saturday evening at the funeral home.
Minnie Ola was born March 17, 1918, in Nashville, Ark., William Newton and Margaret Lee Womack Taylor. She was the youngest of 10 children. She was a member of the Fourth and Stewart church of Christ and worked at the Texas Glove Factory for 19 years.
Minnie Ola is survived by two daughters, Barbara and husband Gene Bannister of Brownwood, and Jeanette and husband John Caronna of Abilene; five grandchildren, Mike and wife Patti Bannister of Brownwood, Mark and wife Tammy Bannister of Brownwood, David and wife Lisa Simpson of Friendswood, Bryon and wife Beth Ann Simpson of Burleson, Luene and husband Jack Williams of Aubrey; 12 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and five sisters and by her son-in-law, David Simpson.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She will be missed by all. Condolences may be made to the family at www.mem.com .
