COMANCHE — Graveside services for Reva Rackley, 95, of Comanche will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, in Proctor Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Whitefield officiating. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at Comanche Funeral Home.
She died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009, at Western Hills Healthcare Residence.
She was born Sept. 10, 1914, in Proctor, to Barney Rufus Pinson and Faye (Kay) Pinson. She was married to James Fred Rackley in Eastland County, on Dec. 24, 1934. She was employed by Sidran Manufacturing Company in Dublin for 20 years, and Comanche Manufacturing Company for five years. She was a homemaker and a member of Proctor Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, James and wife Betty Rackley of Comanche; daughter, Sharon and husband Mike Evans of Proctor; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Fred Rackley; sister, Mozelle Sturkie; and brother, John Henry Pinson.
