SANTA ANNA — Funeral services for Melinda Carol Horner, 54, of Honey Grove will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at First Baptist Church in Santa Anna with Bro. John Stanislaw officiating. Burial will be in Santa Anna Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Henderson Funeral Home in Santa Anna.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church in Honey Grove with the Rev. Phillip Barnes officiating. Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Honey Grove is in charge of arrangements.
She died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, at Paris Regional Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 22, 1953, in Santa Anna to Rodney and Sybil Fellers Dean. She was married to David Lynn Horner on Aug. 25, 1973, at Santa Anna. She was a middle school teacher at Honey Grove and had been employed by Honey Grove ISD for several years. She was a member of Allens Point Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, David Horner of Honey Grove; a daughter, Chinah Horner of Honey Grove; a son and daughter-in-law, Chance and Alisha Horner of Abilene; two brothers, Roddy Dean and wife Debbie of Santa Anna and Rocky Dean and wife Brenda of Crowley; a sister, Beth Steele of Granbury; and two grandchildren.
