BRADY — Graveside services for Alice Ola Daley, 79, of Brady will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 24, in St. James Cemetery in Bassfield, Miss., with Father Ethan officiating. Arrangements under the direction of Leatherwood Memorial Chapels.
She died Wednesday, April 21, 2010, in Brady, to Thomas Vincent Wroten and Velma Mae (Woolley) Wroten. She was married to Jerry Daley in 1951 in Dallas. She was a Assembly Technician for SSI The Shop. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Brady.
Survivors include her sons, Terry Daley of Houston, Donald Daley and wife Germain of Vidor, and Jerry Daley and wife Jo Ann of Vidor; daughters, Brenda Swearingen and husband Tom of Brady and Debra Barney and husband Ted of Vidor; brothers, Moody Wroten of Trinity, Ellvie Wroten of Tyler, and Bobby Joe Tullos of Louisiana; sister, Ruth Swick of Plano, June Hastey of Tyler, and Betty Kniffin of Tyler; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Daley and son, Wayne Daley.
