a GOLDTHWAITE — Funeral services for Thurdore Rexford “Ted” Crumley, 77, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, at First Baptist Church of Goldthwaite with Brother Doug Holtzclaw officiating. Burial will be in Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today.

He died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007, at his Mills County ranch.

He was born Dec. 14, 1929, in Leander to Oliver and Beulah Sylvester Crumley. He was married to Mary Lea Stover on Feb. 2, 1952, in Austin. He moved to Mills County from Leander in 1988. He was a Baptist, a rancher and was retired from the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Crumley of Goldthwaite; three sons and their spouses, James and Karen Crumley of Brackettville, Clyde and Carroll Crumley of El Campo, and Ron and Shronda Crumley of San Angelo; one brother, Tex Crumley of Bertram; two sisters, Irene Simpson and Imogene Walden, both of Bertram; seven grandsons; two granddaughters; a number of nieces and nephews; and a special family friend, Keith Keshe.
