Gary Wells, 55, of Lake Brownwood passed away Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009, at Abilene Regional.
Gary was born Sept. 3, 1954, in Hamlin, Texas to Aaron Wells and Collette Bostick.
Gary is survived by his wife Kathy and daughter, Freedom of Lake Brownwood; his mother Collette Bostick of Eastland; his brothers, Reggie of Baird, Gordon of Eastland; a son, Tony and his wife April of Midland; a grandson, Devon; a daughter, Telisa and husband, Bradley Flowers of Holly Pond, Ala.; and a grandson Hunter. He had numerous nieces and nephews, and friends. He loved his family very much. He was a great man and will be greatly missed, but also well remembered.
He worked in the oil field for 30 plus years. He loved fishing, boating and the great outdoors. He loved his dogs. He was a Baptist.
A celebration of life will be held from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009, at Rusty Anchor Cafe at North Lake Brownwood. He will be cremated and his remains will be spread over the Rio Grande.
