BRADY — Funeral services for Robert Kay “Bob” Pearce, 84, of Lohn will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels with Dickye Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He died Tuesday, April 21, 2009, in San Angelo.
He was born Jan. 13, 1925, in Fife, to Robert Luther Pearce and Mary Minto Finlay Pearce. He was married to Frances Rae Lewis on March 7, 1953, in Brady. He was a stock farmer and postmaster in Fife from 1962-1985. He served in the U.S. Navy World War II veteran, serving on Aircraft Carrier-Saratoga. He was a member of Lohn Baptist Church.
Survivors include his two sons, Bobby and Terri Pearce of Lohn and Freddie and Shirley Pearce of Abilene; brother-in-law, Bob and Mildred Lewis of Odessa; sister, Maggie Francks of San Angelo; three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife and daughter, Deborah Joyce Pearce.
