Funeral services for Robert Dale “Bobby” Stickney, age 54, of Possum Kingdom, formerly of Brownwood, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, at the Netherton Funeral Home Chapel with Brian Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Netherton Funeral Home. Mr. Stickney passed away Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at his daughter’s residence.

Bobby was born June 14, 1954, in San Angelo. He served in the U.S. Army and had lived in the Brownwood area most of his life. He was a member of Haven of Hope Church. Bobby’s greatest moments were times spent with his nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He really loved being around his babies.

Survivors include his daughters Kim Bell and husband, Roy, of Possum Kingdom and Angela Griffin and husband, Jeremy, of Midland; Ancil Hall of Bangs; brothers, Jim Stickney and wife, Deborah, of Grand Prairie, Keith Hall of Bangs; Brian Hall and wife, Johnette, of Brownwood and Rusty Isbell of Coleman; sister, Cheryl Hall of Bangs; grandchildren, Lacey Stanfill, Micah Bell and Jaylyn Griffin; and nieces and nephews, Ashley, Caitlyn, April, Shannon, Michael, Joshua, Amber, Morgan, Austin and Emma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Stickney and Joyce Hall; and two brothers, Chuck Stickney and John Stickney.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Solaris Hospice.
