Graveside services for Lois Fish Ward will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, in the Rocky Creek Cemetery with the the Rev. Rick Justice officiating. Interment will be in the Rocky Creek Cemetery.

    Mrs. Ward passed away Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, at Oakridge Manor in Brownwood.

    She was born Aug. 20, 1919, in Archer City, Texas, to Daniel and Eloiza Jennings Fish. On Jan. 23, 1942, Lois was married to Hogan Ward in Kermit, Texas. She has lived in Brown County for the past 28 years. Mrs. Ward was a member of the Rocky Creek Baptist Church.

    She is survived by one son, Dan Ward of Odessa, Texas; and one daughter, Kay, and husband Ed Talley of Brownwood, Texas. Mrs. Ward is also survived by three grandchildren, Larry Ward, Kyle Talley and Scott Wilson.

    She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a daughter, Vera Ward Wilson; and a granddaughter, Whitney Kay Talley. 

    The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
