BRADY — Funeral services for Raymond Harm Ashabranner, 72, of Brady, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 23, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Evans and Charles Stokes officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Flat Rock Cemetery in Llano County
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He was born Sept. 12, 1934, in Burnet County, to John Nelson and Myrtle Violet (Daugherty) Ashabranner. He was married to Frances Goff on Dec. 26, 1984.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Ashabranner of Brady; four sons, Raymond Dale Ashabranner of Marble Falls, Roger Jay Ashabranner of Llano, Harold Clint Low of Mason and Billy Douglas Ashabranner of Llano; three daughters, Patricia Louise Conner of Austin, Donna Kay Crawford of Brownwood and Joyce Ivera Stewart of Lubbock; three brothers, Rayburn Ashabranner of Cedar Hill, Sam Ashabranner of Seagoville and Jack Ashabranner of Round Rock; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Shirley Clarice (Rogers) Ashabranner; one sister; and two brothers.
