COLEMAN - Graveside services for Lloyd Hammonds, 67, of Brownwood, are set for 2:30 p.m., Monday, July 28, at Coleman Cemetery Pavilion with the Rev. Kermit Sorrells officiating. Burial will follow at Coleman Cemetery with Henderson Funeral Home of Coleman in charge of arrangements.

He died Saturday, July 26, 2008, at the Songbird Lodge in Brownwood.

Visitation is from 4 until 5:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

He was born June 3, 1942, in Santa Rosa, Calif., J. T. and Aletta Mae Eddy Squyres. He was raised in Coleman and attended Coleman schools. He was Baptist and a retired trucker.

Survivors include a son, Lloyd Hammonds of Corpus Christi; his sister, Betty Lee Buchanan of Meridianville, Ala.; three step sisters, Pat Stacey of Mansfield, Betty Jo Boden of Dallas and Brenda Wilkinson of Coleman; six grandchildren; two great- grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother Glen Hammonds and his parents Joe and Aletta Hammonds.
