Charles Wayne White, age 64, of Lexington, Ky., passed away May 13, 2008. He was born in Midland, Texas, on June 19, 1943, to Floyd and Edna White.

He graduated from Early High School in 1961 and from Texas A&M University in 1965.

Mr. White was an engineer for Davis-Plomin Mechanical Engineering and past president of White Construction Company. He was a longtime member of Southside Church of Christ.

He is survived by his two sons, Spenser White of Lexington, Ky. and Sgt. Tyler White of Quantico, Va.; his father, Floyd White of Brownwood; and two brothers, Don White of Brownwood and Myron White of Lubbock, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Walker White.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, in Eastlawn Memorial Park with Ted Kell officiating under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
