COMANCHE — Funeral services for Era Lane, 107, of Comanche, are set for 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. Minister Harold Campbell, assisted by Bill Lane and Andi Lane Artze, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche.

Comanche Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for 6 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Lunch for the family will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Gustine Church of Christ.

She was born Oct. 3, 1900, in Comanche County, the daughter of John Calvin Isham and Mary Alice McDaniel Isham. She was married to C.S. “Bruce” Lane on Nov. 7, 1920, in Newburg, Texas. Mr. Lane died July 16, 1974. Mrs. Lane was a homemaker and a member of South Leon Baptist Church in Comanche County.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Ann Lane and Gustine; five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Bob Lane, who died in 1976; one brother and one sister.
