Funeral services for Margaret Coppic, 80, will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Richard Hetzel officiating. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon at Davis-Morris Funeral Home.

She passed away at a Burleson Hospice Center.

Margaret was born Aug. 30, 1928, to Eddie and Ida Gill. She was married to Virgil Coppic Feb. 19, 1948. He preceded her in death Sept. 16, 1987. She retired from Texas Glove Mfg. She enjoyed ironing, drinking coffee with her “Whataburger” friends and watching “The Dallas Cowboys” She was proud of her Everman Fire, EMS and Police Dept.

She is survived by her daughter, Mildred Johnson and husband Johnnie of Everman; granddaughters, Michelle Meyer and Steve of Everman, Pamela Pinkerton and Kenneth of Arlington, and Janice Barnard and Joey of Everman; great-grandchildren, Shawn, Samantha, Nicole and Bryan; and sister, Linda Gifford and husband Burl of Bangs. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews and other family members and a host of friends.
